Book Love: Mastering the Art of French Eating

mastering-the-art-of-french-eating

I’ve been thinking about Paris a lot lately. I spent two nights there alone in 2004, and since then, I’ve always wanted to go back and just take a huge, juicy bite out of the city. More time. More food. More sights. More love. More life. That’s why I’m so excited about Ann Mah’s new book, Mastering the Art of French Eating. It’s said to be part cookbook, part memoir. And it sounds delicious to me! (A big thanks to Ann’s editor, Pamela Dorman, who sent this book along to me. Loved meeting Pam (such a force in publishing!) at a Penguin party in New York in May.)

Thanks so much for reading my new book, Sarah! Wouldn’t it be fun to chat about cooking and food and books over a glass of wine together one day? xxx

I love Paris – spent 10 days there just absorbing the culture. I still dream about the hot chocolate at Angelina near the Louvre. In fact … I just realized that today I’m wearing the scarf I bought there. Cannot wait to dive tastebuds first into this recommendation!

I’ve just returned from Paris, and while I love the city, the people, the hustle and bustle, we rented a house in a small village in Provence, (La Verdiere) and it was a tiny piece of heaven. If you do go to Paris, take take to visit the south of France. Now I’m going to order this book.
