I've been thinking about Paris a lot lately. I spent two nights there alone in 2004, and since then, I've always wanted to go back and just take a huge, juicy bite out of the city. More time. More food. More sights. More love. More life. That's why I'm so excited about Ann Mah's new book, Mastering the Art of French Eating. It's said to be part cookbook, part memoir. And it sounds delicious to me! (A big thanks to Ann's editor, Pamela Dorman, who sent this book along to me. Loved meeting Pam (such a force in publishing!) at a Penguin party in New York in May.)

A big thanks to web designer extraordinaire Jennae Peterson of Hibiscus Creative for creating this new web site for me. I'm thrilled to share it with you and look forward to picking up where I left off in July with my posts. SO much more to share here, but for now, what do you think of the new design? P.S. This is me (on the left) with my sister-in-law, Kat, on her boat on the Puget Sound, where I am happiest. On the water.
