Early Praise for The Bungalow From … Kristin Hannah & Carol Cassella!
I shared the cover of my second novel, The Bungalow, with you last week, and I’m delighted to say that two amazing authors have provided beautiful endorsements for this book! Kristin Hannah (author of Night Road, Winter Garden, many other amazing novels) had a chance to squeeze in a read while in Hawaii this month, and here’s what she had to say: “The Bungalow is a heartfelt, engaging love story set against the fascinating backdrop of the War in the Pacific.”
The lovely Carol Cassella, author of Oxygen and Healer, also read The Bungalow and shared this quote: “Sarah Jio whips romance, history and a page-turning mystery into one mesmerizing South Sea dream. The Bungalow reads smooth as a summer day, but Jioβs plot races forward with unexpected twists and timeless, haunting love that make you cheer and cry and ache for more.”
I’m so grateful to Carol and Kristin! And, I can’t wait for YOU to read this story. As soon as I get my hands on early copies, I’m going to be giving one away to an early reader here! Stay tuned!
The Bungalow will be published in the spring of 2012 by Penguin (Plume), and also by Heyne Verlag, a division of Random House in Germany!

I can’t wait. I love Carol’s review. That’s how Violets made me feel -more, more, more. The twist and turns of a lovestory. I hope I’ll be a lucky winner of one of the galley books.

So, with your last novel you made me want to go to Washington. Now you’re going to make me want to an island in the Pacific. Travel agents must love you!

Sarah, I read Violets and loved it. It’s now making its way around my pool as each woman who sees it wants to read it. I recently had to give my new publisher some ideas of what I think are great covers and used yours as one I particularly liked. The Bungalow looks equally good and I can’t wait to see what your third one is about!

Love the cover of the new book. I also read the self-interview and had to giggle! You are one busy mom!
I gave my daughter “Violets” to read, and she can hardly wait to start it. I also told her to check out your blog as she is a mom to my two little granddaughters, ages 3 and 1.

Hello Sarah,
Started to read ‘The Violets of March’ and could not put it down.
What a beautiful story for your first novel ! Now we must wait for spring of 2012 for your next second novel. I have 3 of my friends waiting to read the story, and then I’ll pass it on.
Keep on writing and we will be waiting. :0)
