Many of you know that my second novel, THE BUNGALOW, will be out around April of 2012. I’m past the halfway point of book #3 (details TBA!). As I finish up that novel, I wanted to share that I’ve decided to set my fourth novel in Paris, and I’m so head-over-heels for this new story—can’t wait to tell you all about it…

Ooh, Paris! And holy cow, novel number four? You’re a machine!

Sarah, I just finished reading The Violets of March and loved it! I could not put it down! I can’t wait to read more from you. (And I’m not sure how you do it all staying home with your boys. I have just one two-year-old and don’t know how I’d find the time to write a novel, let alone four. 🙂 )

Ah, Sarah– Paris and Joie de Vivre! Wonderful news!

And congrats on passing the halfway mark on your third. I’m chugging my way through my next, passing 50k, hoping to finish before my boys are out of school for the summer. They’re a little more aware of how much time I spend writing than they were when they were younger. :o) So, I’m taking the 6 weeks off to play with my guys. It goes so fast…

I finished Violets earlier this week, and have enjoyed thinking about it, the characters, and the beauty of the story these past few days. Wow. Thank you. I visited Bainbridge Island with my family about four years ago– a beautiful place, indeed!

Though I’m not too close to Paris, we’re venturing down in through Western France this summer to see friends, and to taste and photograph our way through the Provence region and the coast. Can’t wait! Let me know if I can help (been to Paris many times …) in any way.

    xoxo Jennifer

Soo…. you have to go to Paris now for research, right?

I just finished Violets of March. This story definitely keeps a person turning the pages to find out what happens next. You did a very nice job of transitioning between past and present. I enjoyed the story very much. I am off to Paris this summer. I’ll look forward to reading your novel set there. Enjoy the research!
