The Violets of March–Around the World!

One of the most exciting things for me in this year (almost) of having my first book out (and second, and several more in the pipeline!), is the fun of seeing my books being translated into other languages. To date, I have sold rights to my books in 10 countries and counting! The covers are starting to trickle in from various countries who have or will be soon publishing my books, and I wanted to share a few for The Violets of March. In this case, from Spain, Germany and Poland. (To come: Romania, Croatia, Italy, France, China, Turkey … and more!)

ABOVE: Yes, Jodi Picoult’s name is bigger than mine here in the Polish cover for The Violets of March, but I don’t mind at all! (I love Jodi!)

ABOVE: I still think this cover, from my publisher, Heyne (Random House/Germany) is sooo dreamy. The translated title means “Somewhere, Forever.” Love!

ABOVE: The newest cover to add to my collection comes from my new Spanish publisher, Vergara. (If you or someone you know would like to order it, you can find it here.)

How do I buy the German one? Would love to send it to my sister-in-law in France, who is German. Or, the French one is OK, too – then I can send to all my cousins in Lebanon!

It never occurred to me that anything but the language would change. So interesting! I love these covers as much as the one here in the U.S. Thanks for sharing, Sarah.

Hi! I thought same thing, when I bought the Polish version of Violets of March… it’s probably because Polish people are huge fans of Jodi and it makes it more promotive. Anyway, I looooove your book 😀 and just bought The Bungalow.
I thing that the loveliest covers are the original ones, well I hope that the Polish version of your last books will come in the following months and with a prettier cover!!

You have to write more books, cause where else will I find this atmosphere, this attractive style of writing and mysterious stories… <3 🙂
