Love From Around The Web

As the publication of The Violets of March nears, I’m so grateful for the kind souls who have shared encouragement and support for my debut novel around the web, whether on their blogs or via Facebook or Twitter. It means so much to me! I wanted to share a few places where people have kindly mentioned Violets recently:

Chick Lit Reviews: Thanks to Danielle for the terrific shout-out on this fantastic UK women’s fiction blog! She writes: “I recently learned about the release of Sarah Jio’s debut novel The Violets of March and I haven’t been able to get it out of my mind since watching the book trailer. … I’m extremely excited to take a look at this mysterious, but seemingly cozy new novel.”

Dancing Branflakes: Do you read this blog? Tiffany is a professional dancer and thoughtful blogger whose posts always make me smile (I’m always inspired to take a ballet class after visiting her beautiful blog!). She writes: “[Sarah’s] new book, The Violets of March, comes out in April and I cannot wait to get my hands on it!”

My Beautiful Zoo: A dear old friend, Alisha, shares her early memories of playing with me as a child on the shores of Sandy Hook Road in Poulsbo, Washington, just across the shore from Bainbridge Island, where The Violets of March takes place. I was so touched by her memories of our childhood together!

Sharon’s Garden of Book Reviews: Book blogger Sharon mentioned Violets on her beautiful blog. Thank you, Sharon!

Being 5: Katie Kavulla, a friend and fellow blogger and mama shared a bit about Violets with her readers, and I’m so grateful!

Everyday Life of a Mama and Wife: Thanks Sarah, for posting the book trailer for Violets!

I hope I’m not forgetting anyone! Thank you so much all. (Photo credit: cm195902)
